Scenic gardens away from the hustle
Feb 2021
An hour north from Accra, this is a great space to relax and take a picnic. Beautiful plants and trees and fabulous photo opportunities. Take time to cover all inches of the garden!

Beautiful gardens
Nov 2020 • Family
Beautiful and a must see. Get there before 10am or after 3pm otherwise the sun is too hot . The gardens are full of beautiful and historical trees. Its a lovely morning stroll before going to one of the many restaurants along the way for lunch. The children really enjoyed it and we hired a guide who was able to point out names of trees to give them a more educational experience.

ABURI get away
Dec 2020
It is a nice city hide away, in a serene environment. The people in the restaurant were really nice and allowed us to work there the entire day. 4 different events - weddnings, birthdays etc. were quite noicy in an otherwise nice and educational environment. It could use a brush up with signs, funfacts etc.

Pretty and Educational
Nov 2020
Pleasant afternoon strolling through these pleasant gardens. There are explanations of some of the trees and plants etc and lots of variety. I’m not an expert but enjoyed the surroundings and the date palm trees re absolutely stunning and great for photos.

Foreigner Price 2x, High Grass - not maintained
Nov 2020
The foreigner price is doubled the local resident price. However, the extra funds aren't used for anything. The grass is sooooooo high and it's not maintained at all. The trees in the pic are nice and that's all. Everything else needs maintenance that's not even being attempted. We only stayed 30 minutes because it was as if we were walking through a corn field...very very very high grass and not maintained at all.

Hello Picnic
Oct 2020 • Friends
One sunny afternoon my girl friends and I made the drive to Aburi gardens for a colour-themed picnic, to catch the sun and catch up.

For those unfamiliar with the area, it is really easy to find on google maps whether you’re driving or riding in an Uber.

On arrival, a guard ensured we were masked up and presented the various access options.
Local adult, non-Ghanaian adult, other options for video and photo shoots (with professional equipment), lodging and lawn use for celebrations.

The lawns are well kept and clean and many picturesque spots that’ll add a welcome touch of colour on your feed.

It’s advisable to bring all you need for a picnic for a good time.
It’s perfect for reading and enjoying the sun, also good for a family time out.

I definitely recommend this place to everyone looking for a good time in a park...
