The park was well built for recreation. Accra being an instrumental city where African Independence history has its roots, being here could only raise the imagination of the feeling of the people who lived way back when it all happened.

Certainly a must if visiting Accra. You can get a short touy about the memorial and visit the small museum to understand the post colonial origins of Ghana and its leadership.

This location provided history and great art! A must see in Ghana, but be sure to book a driver. There are a lot panhandlers.
