This is your best bet for understanding modern Ghanaian history in a museum setting. Just make sure the park is open before you go.

A national park in memory of Doctor Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first president. Lots of history to be learned here. Small gift shop on site. There are many interesting exhibits and trees. There is even a beautiful peacock strutting around!

Reasonably ok. Hardly much to see around. Some few memorabilia of Kwame Nkrumah are kept do not very well displayed or maintained. Ç10/- entrance fee is a bit stiff.

Quite interesting place to visit. A lot of information about Dr. Kwame Nkruma. There is a museum on the premises with artifacts from his life. It is a bit run down though.

It is a very serene and calm location, perfect for brushing up on your history. The old rotary telephone belonging to our first head of state is the main attraction for me.

Ghana needs to invest more in this museum and park and offer context to this remarkable history. It just needs some care and attention.

Excelent experience for all of the Pan-Africanists. A place of meditation, with a little bookstore and gardens.
