Unfortunately the tour we were on didn't stop here which was a shame. nevertheless passed right by it so got a reasonable view of it but no time to go up.

Yes...worth the climb to the top for a local panorama and some photos. Best leave it to the last as you leave...rather than on the way in!

Great symbol of the country’s history. It literally takes minutes to appreciate it in all its glory so I wouldn’t make a day trip of it

I had the chance to visit the Arch 22 which was build to commemorate the 1994 revolution. The Arch houses various Gambian artifacts, and beautiful view of the capital.There is also a restaurant where you can eat and relax for the day.
