It´s part of your Praia experience! You should have a look to see how the locals bargain, have manicure and gather for hair-styling :) you may be surprise by the amount of havaianas stands, they are actually half-price of prices practised in the EU , so hopefully you can find a new pair of flip-flops ;)

Nice place to feel local amenities and people in Praia. You can find almost anything in sucupira. Deserves a visit. The hustle and bustle of the place is extraordinary and you can feel very welcome in there. Must visit.

Praia is... well, almost European --at least if you compare it with Dakar. This means it found it little charming. The only exception was this market. I love open markets. One can always have a glimpse of how is life in the location he visits when exploring one of its open markets. This one was noisy and funny, with a lot of ladies spreading gossips and laughing at each other.

You can't visit without hitting the local market, it's s local buzz and experience of the local culture... We had some fun around here taking photo's and taking in the local fruits and vegetables, not forgetting the local chillies!!!!.. there was a small chilly in a jar on offer, that I reckon only a connoisseur would dare to try!!!.. It's fun it's worth a visit in the morning to watch the locals buying!!! Easy to find.. Thanks and enjoy. If you found this review helpful, I'd appreciate your tick, BM

We took a look just for the experience, but just about everything on offer is geared more towards locals, understandably. Fascinating to see how they organise everything though, especially at the start or end of the day.
