About
4 ACTIVITIES AT THE HISTORIC AND ICONIC VICTORIA FALLS BRIDGE! The location is unbeatable, in front of the largest curtain of falling water in the world, at a World Heritage Site, one of the Seven Natural Wonders in the World & above the raging torrent misty gorges of the mighty Zambezi River. Then Bungee into the spray & rainbows below! Four seconds of freefall, 111 metres of pure adrenalin! Victoria Falls Bungee is the only place in the world where you get to jump in “no man’s land” & is voted one of the top five adrenalin experiences on the planet. The Gorge swing is equally adrenalin-fuelled but slightly tamer. The Bridge Slide is equally exhilarating, uniquely crossing borders from Zambia to Zimbabwe. There is also the fantastic & theatrical Bridge tour - an excellent & humorous presentation by an in-character George Imbault (the bridge engineer), followed by a unique tour underneath the bridge - surrounded by magnificent falls, breathtaking views & 360-degree rainbows.

Zip-line was AMAZING!!!
My husband and two sons ages 7 and 10 absolutely loved it and they thought it was the best thing ever!
Musaka who was helping the boys get kitted was ever so pleasant, polite and respectful.
The lady with the Go-pros could have been more pleasant and chatty. The person who books and takes the payment could do with a smile and happy face too. He was rather dull and boring!
Musaka is a legend and top guy!

During our 3 days in Victoria Falls, we worked with Shearwater to do a helicopter ride, historic bridge tour, and a sunrise Zambezi river cruise. All experiences were great and I really appreciated their communications (thru WhatsApp). Transportation was easy and convenient and every experience was smooth, safe, and fun. The views of the falls (early March, so massive flows) from the helicopter were epic. Our group of 5 had the sunrise cruise to ourselves and was the most wonderful way to end our stay. The staff was so kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. I was completely surprised by the historic bridge tour! I expected a bit of (dry) history and a walk across a cool bridge, but it was so much more. Our guide was FANTASTIC. He stayed in character (as one of the original bridge engineers) and made it more fun and informative than I could have imagined. Thanks so much to Shearwater for making all of our VF experiences unforgettable.

I’ve always fancied the idea of a bungee jump but didn’t fancy the idea of being “snapped” back up and being upside down for most of it. So when we saw the option of the “Swing” I was keen to do it. I persuaded a very reluctant husband to join me on the tandem option. To get out onto the bridge we had to go through border control, leave our passports and get a "day pass". We had the driver from our hotel with us and this made the process very easy. At all stages we were very impressed by the professionalism and attention to safety which everyone at Shearwater maintained. It’s a 70m free fall which transfers into a "gentle" swing out over the gorge. The best, (or in my husband’s case the worst) bit is stepping straight out into space and dropping straight down. I was really pleased we did it as a tandem - my husband was not initially very keen but his male ego got in the way, he did it and he actually enjoyed it. It was an experience I absolutely loved and will never forget. We purchased the video/photo package which amazes our friends when we show it to them.

The activities were amazing. I purchased footage of my bungee and the format sent to me doesn’t want to download. I have contacted you numerous times without any communication back or feedback. For a video that costs almost as much as the jump itself, this is unacceptable. I can only play the video, it doesn’t download

If you like adrenaline this is a must do, I bought a package of all three activities that’s the Bungee, Swing and Zipline for $220 USD (At the time of this review) in addition to this I bought the media package for $75 USD. (you can bring your own go pro however the quality of the editing was very good).
The team are excellent very engaging and funny, they don’t joke about things going wrong they are very encouraging and make you feel at ease.
I’d highly recommend this company for their manner, professionalism and how welcoming they are. Also the beer you can buy after the bungee will be the tastiest one you ever have.

We did heaps of activities with Shearwater and it was all fabulous. We would highly recommend doing it all when you're in Vic Falls.
1) We attended the Simunye: The Spirit of Africa - the dance was fabulous. And everyone also had an opportunity to meet with the performers which provided a personal touch.
2) We did the all day white water rafting on the Zambezi - it was so fun. The captain and staff were so attentive. The toughest parts were the hike down and back up the gorge. The staff really took care of us and helped us with the hike. Shoutout to Captain Frank and MQ - who were so fabulous to get me back up the gorge - it took forever but they were all so patient and we had lots of laughs along the way. They're a great group of guys. Can't recommend this activity more! It was definitely something that I won't forget.
3) I did the bungee and the swing off the bridge - I always felt safe but it was terrifying especially on the swing. But I did it and have some great video footage - I've already watched it a few times to relive this experience!

I have never done a bungee jump before but what an incredible experience! Staff are very professional and made me feel totally safe. They get you to jump off so quickly that you don't have time to freak out, the next thing you know you are falling through the air. It was an exhilarating experience, both terrifying and amazing! The adrenaline afterwards was like nothing else. If you are able to, definitely book yourself on!

Decided to do this last minute as we were literally walking past it crossing from the Zimbabwe side to the Zambia side of Vic Falls. Took all of 30 minutes to book and get ready to jump. We have done bungee jumps before, and this was very safe with multiple harnesses. No risk of jerking any body part. Definitely opt for the photo/video package! The pictures they take with the rainbow over the Falls is totally worth it! They send a download link within minutes. Very highly recommended!

I had an awesome time in Vic falls for my birthday. I owe the ease and fun of my trip to Nyasha who organised everything for me with grace and Musako (hope I spelled it correctly) who helped calm me down but the bridge before my bungee. Mpilo was also very helpful in getting my way around. Shelton was my guide by the falls and he gracefully took the most beautiful pictures of me. These are the kindest people I’ve ever met. My first solo trip was nothing short of amazing!

We had a guided walking tour of the falls. Dennis was incredible, his knowledge and ability to explain everything we wanted to know was great. Highly highly recommend a day out with Dennis for a guided tour. You can do the walk by yourself but having someone with local knowledge of the falls, history of the country and all round general knowledge was fantastic.

Does the $45 charge include the jump as well? Or is the jump a separate charge?
Written 1 December 2018
Hi , the bungee jump is an additional activity . Sorry I can’t remember how much it was as we didn’t do it .

Hello everyone, please i want to ask whether i need to book the bungee jump before i go or not? and whether they provide renting go pro and what the cost for renting+jump?
Thanks
Written 14 July 2018
You dont need to book before you go, you can take a go pro with you provided by the Shearwater guys, the video is put on a disk which you can buy after you jump the jump costs about $150, the footage of your jump about $40. The footage also includes video from the bridge and sides, it a nice momento... tip, you can get a package including the jump, a bridge swing and zip line for cheapef than doing them separately, personally the bridge wing was the most fun. Good luck and enjoy.

Can I pay with my ATM card after going to that location? What is the taxi fare from Victoria Falls to the Bungee Jump location? What is the price of Bungee Jump and it is negotiable?
Written 1 February 2018
The office for Shearwater is on the Zambia side of the bridge. If you are coming from Livingstone (like we did for our jump) you will be taking the taxi to the border office and then walking in from there. Make certain you take your passport and check yourself out at the border, as you might have an issue returning if you don't.
As for the taxi, you can negotiate for the ride to the border. Four of us went in our taxi and I believe it was the equivalent of $10 Canadian dollars (tip included). The best thing is to check with your hotel for what they feel is a fair price and start negotiating at a lower amount. Often you can get a better price if you pre-book them to come back for the return trip (but don't pay for that half until they have dropped you off back at your hotel).
The price of the bungee jump is set, but you can get a deal if you want to do any of their other jumps. They offer package deals that you can purchase and they will push you towards the package. As for the price, I don't recall what I paid but it will be on their website. I do remember that I paid $40 for the USB recording of my jump. I can tell you that we were traveling with a group and on other events where a group of 6 or more of us were booking, we were able to negotiate for a discount. There is power in numbers! So try and get some friends to go with you.
As for payment methods, I paid with my credit card. My friend paid cash. I am not certain if they accept debt cards, but again this should be on their web site.
When you walk back to the border, don't forget to check back in. Sometimes they will have simply held your passport. Other times they will stamp it. Either way, you will need to have your passport or matching in/out stamps when you get to the next border crossing.
Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the drop!

How long does this take overall? I may only have one day at Victoria Falls and also want time to see other things
Written 31 January 2018
There are multiple options you can do with Shearwater. If you only choose to do 1 of these activities, you can be in and out in about 1 hr. That is sign up, doing the activity, and going back to get your stuff and leave. To do this, you do need to schedule your activity before hand and set a specific time. If you do that, you will be placed right into the line to go. If you want to do 2-3 Activities (zip line/bungee) expect to be there closer to 2 hrs. Once you complete your first activity, you will need to switch gear and then place your name on the list, which is based on when you get to that activity. It can take a bit longer. If you do all 3 9zip/bungee/swing) you are looking at 3+ hours for the whole thing. Hope this helps!

Does someone know how to contact the bungee crew? Wanna purchase my bungee vid + pics online. Thanks
