Tuffy was an excellent tour guide for our Victoria Falls Tour. We learned so much about the area. I loved the pop quiz he gave us. Tuffy was very personable and professional throughout all of our adventures. We also had Maude for the Chobe National Park tour. She made sure we saw as many animals as possible, even driving through the water to get to the pride of lions! The sunset cruise was spectacular!!! I love that the smaller boat could get closer to the animals and the falls. I will definitely recommend Bushtracks Africa to others.

We arranged a sunset cruise with this operator on recommendation from the manager at the lodge we stayed at. We got fetched on time by this company and taken to the river. Very welcoming Meshack and Evidence welcomed us onboard with a drink. Nice variety of drinks and some snacks. What we enjoyed about the boat was that the max capacity is 16pax so it is not over crowded and huge like some of the other boats we past on the river that turns into a party boat with loud music and people screaming. The point off going on the river is the experience the beauty of it and observe animals and birds. They crew’s bird life knowledge was impressive! Because the boat is smaller and don’t have propeller engines, they can go to about 800m from the height of the falls and the is pretty amazing! The bigger boats can’t do that. Saw a gorgeous sunset and when stopped the driver from this company was there waiting for us and to drop us at our next destination. Don’t hesitate to book with this company, the best!

Great sunset cruise with a good crew, the drinks flowed freely and the crew were both knowledgeable and friendly. The smaller boats with jet engines mean that one gets really close to the falls which is cool.

We did a small boat cruise on the Zambezi arranged through Bushtracks Africa. We selected this cruise because we wanted a smaller boat that could get us closer to the falls. This cruise did not disappoint. Pickup at the Avani was at 3:30. Livingstone Adventures picks up several people for activities and then drops them off. There was a family of three dropped off first for their microlight flight and another couple doing another sunset cruise dropped off with us. We had a total of six people (our family of four plus two others) on our cruise plus the guide and driver. We were provided with drinks during the cruise and then stopped for snacks part way through the trip. Being on a small boat really allowed us to get close to the shore and see the crocodiles and hippos. We were also able to get closer to the top of the falls than the larger boats could. If you have an opportunity to do a cruise on the Zambezi, I would recommend that you find a small boat cruise rather than a large one. After enjoying the sunset over the Zambezi, we were dropped off at the Royal Livingstone jetty and then had a short shuttle ride back to the Avani. Great experience.

We chose this sunset cruise as its boats are bit smaller and can get a bit closer to the falls, it was the best decision we made. From the pick up at the hotel to the sunset cruise itself the staff gave us such a warm welcome. Mishek and Jeffrey could not have been more friendly and helpful. The drinks kept flowing and the snacks were delicious. Both Jefferey and Mishek were very knowledgeable about the river, the wildlife the local area so were able to answer all our crazy questions.

My husband and I booked a sunset cruise on March 9th, 2022. After 11 amazing days on safari in Zambia, this was definitely a highlight of the entire trip! We were picked up from our hotel at 1610, after a short drive to the dock, we met the Captain and Jeffrey the guide. Jeffrey did his safety briefing, gave us the drink of our choice, and said something along the lines of "you'll see some hippos and different types of birds, but don't expect to see an elephant. It's the rainy season and they have other sources of water." 5 minutes later, there's a huge, male elephant crossing the river right in front of us! Evidently the current was strong, because he turned around to head back to shore. Jeffrey said "He must have forgot his passport." :) He was swimming across the Zambezi between countries. We started to continue, but then the captain spotted the elephant making another attempt. We circled back around and watched him swim for a long while on his journey. Eventually, we had to continue down the river towards the falls. This tour is different from the others because the boats are smaller and can get farther downstream, closer to the falls. They gave a delicious snack and kept our drinks full. We stopped along the river bank to stretch our legs and take pictures, then continued back to the dock. It was such an incredible experience! I highly recommend booking with Bushtracks if you're in VF!

We had an excellent day of exploring Victoria Falls from all sides, which included guided tours on both the Zimbabwe and Zambian sides (see my other reviews), and a morning tour/walk on Livingstone Island. For the latter, we took a boat ride to Livingstone Island, where there were toilets, changing rooms, and a delicious breakfast after our walk on the island itself. As it was rainy season, the Zambezi was too high to go to the Devil's Pool, but our trusty, strong and excellent two guides brought us to sit in and experience Angel's Pools. We walked slowly with them close to the edge of the falls at two different places, but it was very safe and they took many different photos that dramatically feature the falls. They supported each person on going only as far and close to the edge as s/he felt safe, always reminding us to go slowly -- there is no rush! -- and to enjoy the views and lovely day. It was not only an exhilarating experience, but the photos and videos are among our most treasured of the day. Although this tour might seem expensive, with the boat trip there/back, two excellent guides (our group had only four people), and delicious breakfast, it was very much worth it. Also remember to bring money to tip your guides as well -- they deserve it due to the individual care and safety they offer! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We really enjoyed the sunset cruise with Bush tracks. The drinks and snacks were great as was the sunset ride on the Zambezi River.

Bushtracks arranged for a lab tech to conduct a PCR Covid test at our hotel and they hand delivered the results that afternoon, thus relieving my anxiety about finding a testing site that would deliver results in time for our return to Johannesburg and the the USA. Humanity guided us thru Vic Falls. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The river cruise in the afternoon was informative and relaxing.. The boat was a pontoon boat on the rustic side. They will take you within 800 meters of the falls, closer than the other operators.

We used Bushtracks for a walking tour of the falls and a sunset cruise. Tulani was an absolutely amazing guide, very friendly and so knowledgeable. We had such a great time. The sunset cruise was beautiful and one of the highlights of our entire trip here in Africa. We saw many animals and again the staff on the cruise was also wonderful. All transfers were on time, our guide went above and beyond on multiple occasions and we are so grateful for such a wonderful experience. We highly recommend using this company. They also assisted with COVID testing which made travel during this time possible and much easier to coordinate everything.
