Ewanrigg botanical garden is a nice place to go walking, especially with dogs or kids. Very cathartic! Nice picnic spots too.

We rode bicycles from northern Harare and then picnicked at Ewanrigg before riding back. A nice afternoon! The grounds could be better maintained so I hear it's only a shadow of it's former self but still a nice place for a group to meet up.

it was a lovely day out with friends. The aloes had started to bloom and there is such a variety of aloes and succulents and other collected plants and trees. Lots to explore especially if you have an interest in plants. Possibly one of the most significant collections of aloes in the region. Also a lovely spot for picnics and braais. Decent restaurant too.…

The best time to visit this Botanical reserve is June / July when the aloes are in full bloom and at their best. There is something for the enthusiast who enjoy succulents and cycads.
