Absolutely and utterly delighted with the Babies of the Wild is Life animal sanctuary . But then feeding the Giraffe comes a close second, and then ......in fact everything. The welcome , brilliant tour guide, food fabulous amazing diversity of healthy animals who are happy to be where they are . It reminds us how important conservation is here in Zimbabwe. So respect they ethos on rescued animals and the reintegration in the wild if possible.
A must if in Harare for visitors who are short on time . You will not regret it.

Awesome expereince interacting with the animals. Angela is such a great host and knows all the animals by name and dates they were brought to the sanctuary of the top of her head. One of the beautiful places to visit in Harare, its also very relaxing and the high tea was a nice touch.

Very interesting. I, and other visitors, were able to be among the animals here at this rehab facility. And we were able to even have physical contact with some of them, unlike a safari.

Wild is Life Trust is a wonderful place. I went there for a Sunday afternoon visit. The place could be summed as freedom and peace. There are no fences in the traditional sense. There are barricades but they blend in naturally with the surroundings. You get to feed the giraffes and even scratch the wildebeest's head. Funny wildebeest actually. They also have a really pretty little girl pangolin who has a very proud keeper/father who dotes over her and she in turn does the same. Your hostess is a lovely lady named Angela and her able partner named Andrew. Both are wonderful people. The staff are very polite, smile a lot and help as much as they can. I would definitely recommend going there. I am going again very soon. The experience includes tea and champagne in a beautiful open terraced room. Definitely, go if you can. It will be something you won't forget.

Visited this place with my wife. It was our first time being able to see so many animals at close range. We learnt a lot from the knowledgeable guides. The giraffe feeding was my personal favourite. Highly recommend this place.
Suggested improvement is on the booking process. Maybe make its online or just advise what days are free. Found the call longer than it had to be. I would suggest a date and representative would say not available and had to guess a few times. If my day is not available maybe best to list available days close to that or even have an online portal

If you find yourself in Harare, you must schedule a visit to Wild As Life. I went with my family today. We all loved seeing the animals up close, feeding the giraffes a snack, and hearing the lions rumble, but the real experience is learning about the rescue history of the animals, as the staff at WAS detail their conservation efforts with these amazing creatures. Roxie, Craig, Angie, and Andrew are gracious hosts, keeping your champagne glass full and telling fascinating stories of animal life. I personally loved seeing the bush babies, pangolin, and hyenas, because I've never gotten a close look at any of these nocturnal creatures.

Such a special and unique experience; a must-visit in Harare!
I could never get tired of spending time with those incredible wild animals-- the little pangolin definitely steals the show.
The personnel are very informative and attentive, the location gorgeous, and the decadent drinks and hors d'oeuvres really tie the whole evening together very nicely!

Hi
Most of Harare is very safe - safer than most big cities. Stay in Northern suburbs generally. Be sensible and safe like any city. Wild is Life totally safe, near the Airport

I took my sister-in-law from UK, and we had a truly wonderful afternoon. It is good to know that what we were paying is going to a really good cause, and they are doing a fantastic job with the public's help.
how much is it to enter per person and how much are the meals

Dear sir/madame,
I saw some review of the park and would like to visit Sunday 30 July. I would like to know the exact costs and how to get there and back. I am not renting a car or anything.

Hi Anne
The entry fee was USD 95.00 each. We travelled by taxi for $25.00 from CBD of Harare.
The taxi driver waited at the park.
Hey,I just want to ask is this a zoo! Or a wild life park? It says wild is life however I noticed that the animals are caged ! And even some Cheetas are on a leash !!im going to Harare in few days and I wanted to see real elephants and animals but not sure if you're place is a zoo or a park
Sorry for the inconvenient question I just really don't support zoos and leashed wild animals

Hi,
no this is not a zoo. It deserves your support. They work to rehabilitate animals so that they can be released back into the wild. It is an amazing project and well worth a visit.
