If you are looking for a unique, fully equipped recreational relaxation park, then look no further than Kingfisher Park. Located on the outskirts of the Harare Central business district and surprisingly close to Mount Pleasant Business Park and just meters away from Gateway School, it is hidden in the depths of a small but decisively spacious nature reserve. Though it does not contain any wildlife the closest one can get to any sort of game would be through sport-fishing in the parks many dams which boast a considerable number of fish, well that is depending on the season and if the rains have been generous.

Kingfisher Park is generally a great escape to host private braai family functions as the whole park is carpeted with lush green grass making it child friendly as they can roam around and play freely whilst the adults enjoy some well-deserved chill time. Important to note that the park also offers many extra add on services such as a Firestarter for your braai, a bar in the case you run out of drinks and alcohol and even a sound crew that can help aid you with speakers and music, but this last service is subject to availability.

In closing the atmosphere and ambience at Kingfisher Park is that of clean family fun and I would highly recommend a day out to a family in need of a break from everyday life.

Great place for a picnic, braai, green grass, clean, lots of space for kids to run around. Nice that I could take my own food and drinks at no extra charge.

I enjoyed the place,so clean and refreshing but i feel the incline area above the water base needs some barrier for the safety of children.
Other than that the place is cosy for celebrations.

Visited middle of the week. Such a lovely place with beautiful scenery. Great for a peaceful picinic midweek or a get-together or braai with friends over the weekend. They allow you to bring your own food just pay entrance fee of $3/adult. Tones of activities including fishing, volleyball, mudslide and zip-line.

This park is a real unexpected treasure in the middle of suburbia with minimal entrance fee. Lots of kids activities including Flying Fox , trampoline and playground with ducks, geese, turkeys and hens wandering around. There’s even a water splash ground slide.
The park is big enough to find a quiet spot away from the playground and the peace of the lake and tree setting makes it a great spot for yoga or meditation.
Even though there is no cafe, you can order a coffee and even have a cappuccino.
We had a great time here and our preschoolers loved it.

The park is located outside of the CBD and is well known for it's ability to provide peace and serenity. The park is located around a lake where people are allowed to fish and not only that, one can have their wedding or special events at the park. A perfect setting to create great memories.

The park, on a regular day, is the perfect destination for children. There are activities they can do including a zipline which has proven to be popular. With swings, the open space and other activities, you can be sure your children will have a memorable experience.

Looking for an intimate date? Kingfisher Park allows you the opportunity to set the mood right for you and your date. The park is perfect for birthdays and if you need a place to read a book.
