This place needs no introduction.
The animal diversity is fascinating, particularly how they are all roaming freely.
We got up close and personal with a few of them and loved our time there.
Scenically the savanna is never ending however subtle regional variations of plants,...More
Tanzania Horizon Safaris organised for us our Kilimanjaro-climb (Machame route) and 5 days safari ( Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Manyara) for a good price. Both trips were excellent, thanks to a very skilled, motivated and friendly staff. We enjoyed it fully and had...More
A couple of weeks ago we returned home after a fabulous Roy Safari. We had such a wonderful memorable time. Hussain, our guide was excellent and couldn’t have done more to accommodate our wishes, even changed part of our itinerary en-route to cater for our...More
We enjoyed wonderful 2 days Tanzania safari with Halisi African Adventures. First of all, Brighton helped us with choosing the best itinerary for our trip. Our guide/driver Frank was very experienced, knowledgeable, patient, helpful. Brighton is the best! Seriously, we had nothing to complain about...More
We had a great time at our Safari trip arranged by Tanzania Horizon Safaris We went for a 4-day tour in September and they did their best to make sure that we had a great time and got to see as many animals as possible....More
Unbelievable scenery and superb opportunities to observe large animals and birds. The Serengeti is vast, so animals are more spead out than other National Parks (Tarangire and The Crater). Having said that, when you do find and animal, its more rewarding! Saw the Big 5...More

Hi we just returned from two weeks in Tanzania. We visited Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, Serengeti National Park and Tarangire, then flew to Zanzibar for the beaches. We used Anna at Maasai Wanderings and had Simon as our guide. I could not be more satisfied with the planning and execution of our trip. Maasai Wanderings was less expensive but all the accommodations were superior especially Ehlane Plains Camp, Naonu Moru camp, African Tulip and Plantation Lodge. Breezes beach club and spa on Zanzibar is spectacular.
