Northern Serengeti is the quintessential African safari.
Aug 2021
We saw leopards and lions with cubs, families of elephants and giraffes, hyenas, serval cats and 100s of thousands of wildebeast and zebras as well as dozens of other animal species. The Mara river crossing is a spectacle that everyone should see in their lifetime. The wide open plains and the incredible rock outcroppings were spectacular in and of themselves and the sunrises and sunsets were awe inspiring.

The animals migrating from one place to another is like another wonder of the world. nature is really nice ...
10's of animals ending up in crocodiles mouths but that is nature .. others have to pass and others have to be food

Fantastic
Jul 2021
We went there last week (july 2021) and we saw thousands of gnoes crossing the river Mara (4 crossings in two days). It was really spectacular. A must see in the Serengeti parc!
All guides are constantly in contact with eachother so if anyone observes a possible crossing, everyone is warned!

Words cannot describe this experience
Jun 2021
We were in the western to southern corridor & fortunate enough to see the migration . It's something one cannot even attempt to explain to someone , it is mind blowing seeing so many wildebeest & zebra congregated in one area. This was certainly the highlight of our trip. There were animals as far as the eye could see , no grass in sight , only animals. It's the ultimate experience for any nature lover & what one visits the Serengeti for in the hope of seeing the migration. It helps to have experienced guides & we were fortunate enough to have George from Soul of Tanzania. We will never forget this experience

It is never boring
Feb 2021
I recently spent 8 days on safari in the Serengeti and witnessed the migration. This was the fourth time that I've seen the migration, and it was just awesome as the first time. Fortunately, there were far fewer visitors than normal.

I had great sightings of lions, cheetahs, and a couple of leopards. I saw plenty of giraffes, I even managed to see a caracal and four different servals.

I was moved
Feb 2021
This was my second trip to view the migration. This trip was early on and the animals were not fully on the move yet, in fact some of the unseasonable rains seemed to confuse them as to whether they needed to start but the lines were beginning. Its always an incredible sight!

December-Southern Serengeti heading to Ndutu
Dec 2020
December- the migration was in Southern Serengeti headed to Ndutu region of Ngorongoro Conservation for the February birthing season. There were lots of female wildebeest, antelope, zebras along the road into Ndutu. One day in Eastern Serengeti we found thousands of zebras migrating!
