Fabulous So spectacular , buildings and gardens well worth a visit.
Lots of walks So many photo opportunities too
Despite having guards you are free to wander and take lots of photos

It’s a quick ride by in my opinion. You cannot go snide. There is no impressive structure to view- just an entrance. It’s pretty, so it got a “good” instead of “poor” review. There are so many better things to see.

The Royal Palace of Casablanca has a beautiful Arabic facade, but we were not able to go inside. This is one of four royal palaces in Morocco—others are located in Rabat (the capital), Fez, and Marrakesh. The king comes here for business but really lives in a much more modern and magnificent villa. Apparently, this palace is much like the Spanish Alhambra inside with courtyards, gardens, palm and orange groves, and elaborate water features--all closed to the public. All we could see were the high walls and elaborate doors, set in a keyhole arch and framed by elaborate mosaics—beautiful, but very disappointing.

Our tour guide, carried on a negotiation with the Palace Guard and we were allowed to enter the grounds and photograph the truly magnificent architecture. While we were there it was time for a call for prayer. From a nearby minaret came forth the cry that unifies one of the world’s great religions. I was deep into the moment when one of the guard shooed us on our way

The King was not home though our guide told us the cooks still need to cook everyday for him in case he pops in???? Could not go inside but very impressive from the outside.

It is one of the many palaces in Morocco. It is beautiful to look at from the outside but the palace is not open to the public or at least was not when we visited.

A good place to visit to take some photo and since the palace is closed you can take some photo in front of the doors, the visit will not exceed 15-20 minutes from your time.

Make sure to visit with a guide because the history is so interesting and you wouldn't know the significance otherwise.

If you have already seen the Royal Palace in Fez (the best) and the one in The Capital, Rabat. This one will not be as impressive as the others
