This bare bones museum makes you wish you were in air conditioning while simultaneously making you ponder the age old question, “what is art?” There are currently two exhibits, active construction in the way of said exhibits, and if you’re lucky, a guard’s phone will...More

An old building transformed to keep serving the community, full of data on natural and social history, a 3D theater to have a first hand view of Copan without travelling, temporal exhibits, gift store and a central patio for events

The museum is nice and had some cool exhibitions when I visited. However, everything is in Spanish, so didn't learn anything. Neither did they have audio guides or tours in English.

So, I went to this place with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing staff and beautiful location. Loved the expositions and the knowledgeable guide. I can't remember his name but he was AMAZING!!!

If in Teguz a visit is warranted to this cultural gem. It is an unassuming museum located in a revitalized colonial building in Barrio Baja. Even before you enter the museum you are greeted with a cultural project out on the street, you'll just have...More

I went there last week alone. The entry fee was 100 lps, including an English guide. Quite a bargain! Although the museum was in some sorts of maintenance and some galleries were closed. After the around 20 mins guide tour, you could still walk around...More
