We had a wonderful experience through this company! We learned things about Roatan’s history and way of life that we never would have heard otherwise. Courtney our guide was so knowledgeable and helpful. We also enjoyed the pastelitos we had for lunch. :)

There's a reason Cleves' Tours and Adventures are top of the charts of things to do in Roatan!
Cleve brings his personal life experiences, his infectious personality and his passion for the island to his tours. I went on his Island Cultures tour with another couple. We spent the entire day touring the various cultural communities that make up the island, from the hilltop barrios of the Latinos to a school for Miskito children to the Garifuna culture in Punta Gorda and the "little Venice" of Oak Ridge and its mangrove tunnels, with plenty of scenic and other stops in between. We gained a thorough knowledge of how Roatan came to be what it is today and how each of the 5 ethnic groups found their way here and how they interact. And watch out for the end of tour "quiz" to test what you learned!!
I highly recommend Cleves' Tours and Adventures.

This was the highlight of our trip! Cleve was amazing. He is a true ambassador for Roatán. Our private tour was well planned and Cleve was so great with our children. They were entertained all day with the history of Roatán. We didn’t stay in the tourist bubble. We were shown all of the different cultures of the island throughout our day. I highly recommend this adventure be part of your trip to the island.

We had an excellent time learning all about the culture of Roatán. Cleve was a wealth of knowledge and is absolutely fantastic with children. Our kids were so engaged throughout the tour and learned from him easily because of his energy and excitement. We got to customize our tour and really experienced the different cultures and local food. I’d highly recommend this adventure and would love to adventure with this company again.

This was a highlight of our trip to Roatan! The island has so much culture and history that you do t get to learn about in the beach. Our tour guide was Courtney and he made us feel like a guest in his home/island. He has such a wealth of I for
Action and he is SO enthusiastic about sharing its history with others. He kept us engaged throughout the day. It was a lot of driving, but a nice respite for the constant sunshine on the island. I think this should be a “must do” for anybody who’s never been to the island, or has been but has only enjoyed the sun and beaches. We had delish local food, and stops along the way to stretch and see iguanas, zipline and see monkeys. I wish we could have spent another day with Courtney!

We went on tour with Cleve two years ago and wanted our kids to experience all of the island of Roatan. This year, our guide was Courtney, who had big shoes to fill and did a great job!
This land (and mangrove boat) tour does a great job educating about the entire island of Roatan, historical, geographical, cultural. A great way to get to know the island. It's a long day but worth the education.
Courtney was a wonderful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide!

Hello: We would like to have a tour on Wednesday , February 7th, 2024 from West Bay (staying at Foster’s, but could meet at Java Vine) starting at about 10:30 am and going to the Roatan Island Brewing Company, then also the Rum company, Roatan sign for some photos , a bit of shopping, and some Pastelito’s as well as fresh fruits ( papaya and mango are favorites) . We are guessing that this would be a 4-5 hour adventure for the 2 of us…. Can you please let us know if you have availability and what the approximate price would be? Thank you very much! Jim + Beth

It is always a good idea to book early with Cleve. Cleves tours are totally focused on the customer and will deliver any typeof custom tour you desire. What ever ages they are, you will all walk away amazed and overwhelmed with the love Cleve has for his island. It is best to contact him on Facebook (clevestoursandadventures) His direct # is +504 9594-5495 . You can make a free call worldwide using Whatsapp. I would highly suggest that you book early, mainly because of TripAdvisor he has become one of the most sought after tours on the island. Have a great time on the tour, Make sure you ask him "What is the best type of tan?" You will enjoy his answer.

Hola. Gracias.

Where do Cleve's tours depart from, or does he pick you up at your hotel? There will be 5 of us, in West Bay.

Our price was $45 per person. They didn't charge for a 3-yr old that was in our group though. For us, this included entry fee into the Sloth Hangout, which was super cool!

Cleve is amazing. I can’t answer for the snorkeling but I definitely did not like West Bay. Felt like spring break anywhere USA. Whatever Cleve suggests...that’s where I would go! You won’t be disappointed with him or his recommendations!

Hello we are going to roatan Jan 17. Staying at Henry Morgan first week. Just wondering if we should do tours in first week or second week.
What were prices like?

For me, I would definitely do it the first week. that way if you fall in love with an area you can always go back and visit other day.
We had so much fun on Cleves tour... so informative and we learned so much.
As far as pricing it depends on how many people you have in your tour and what you want to do for that day. Our price was an extremely fair price for all we took in.
I would not hesitate to contact him and set up something… you can set up your own tour type or he can give you ideas.
Have a great time ..we are missing that area 😞.
We want to go somewhere in a couple weeks.. if I could find good flights from our area I would definitely go back to Roatan and take his tour again 💕but out flights are just crappy 😢

The Tour we went on was $45.00. The Tours can vary in price depending on what you do as well. We did a 6 hour scenic, amazing, knowledgeable tour that included a light lunch and a drink. Also the tour was in a new suv with air. Worth every penny.
