Highly recommend this trip. One hour bus trip was quick as our Mayan descendent guide was well versed. This was my first experience at a site like this. Well worth the time and travel to see the country of Belize. Plenty of time to enjoy...More

This is an awesome sight. The museum is very interesting with many unearthed items on display. Be careful walking on the uneven paths. Make this an excursion for sure.

Excellent trip. Our guide was a Mayan descendant who actually lived adjacent to the park where the ruins are. On our one hour drive to the site he gave us a lot of history of the country of Belize and what we would expect at...More

Not the greatest ruins in Belize but if you enjoy ruins this is a nice spot. The grounds are very nice, well cleared and mowed. They are working on the buildings, looks like indoor toilets in the future. There is a climb, up stone steps...More

The guides were excellent and explained the site well. Dates to around 790 Ad with several large stellas to see, along with remains of the royal home tombs, ball court and pyramid. Very well preserved as wells as numerous artifacts found on the site.

The ruins at Nim Li Punit are themselves not that impressive, though it is obviously an active archeological dig site. The grounds of the park are shady and beautiful, well-maintained and easy to explore, with signs in English and maps explaining the various buildings, tombs,...More
