Not the greatest ruins in Belize but if you enjoy ruins this is a nice spot. The grounds are very nice, well cleared and mowed. They are working on the buildings, looks like indoor toilets in the future. There is a climb, up stone steps...More

The guides were excellent and explained the site well. Dates to around 790 Ad with several large stellas to see, along with remains of the royal home tombs, ball court and pyramid. Very well preserved as wells as numerous artifacts found on the site.

Nim Li Punit is located in the remote parts of Toledo Belize. This is the better part of the country. Enjoy the moment as you reflect back in time of the ancient Mayans. Get a chance to see ancient open tombs. This tour is remarkable.

Stopped here after a morning visit to Lubaantun. I really enjoyed it- as it has a totally different character and more developed visitor facilities. Nim Li Punit's claim to fame are the stela with carvings and hieroglyphics on them. The info panels (all in English...More
