We took 2 separate tours with this company and they were both fantastic. A word of advice wear good hiking shoes and tons of bug repellent for both tours.

We toured the Cockscomb with Gilbert (aka Gilly). He was very very knowledgeable not only about the jaguars, but about the plants and all the other animals native to the area. The hike wasn't hard and we skipped the river tubing. We didn't see any jaguars, but we could smell them. Also saw a lot of tracks- jaguar and wild boar.

We went on the Monkey River tour with Evar and his wife. What a fun tour! They were able to point out so many animals for us. Birds, turtles, iguana, alligators, and monkeys of course! We even rode around at the end looking for manatees. We had a brief hike after the ride on the river. We had lunch in a small village near the location of the hike.

Would definitely recommend our guides for anyone considering these tours!

Our family did the day tour of the Mayan Dig sites. Gilly was friendly and VERY knowledgeable. He knew so much about the history of the sites and every plant my mother asked about, he knew the name and uses. The tour was fun and he was such an excellent guide. We will use them again!

My husband and I went on the Xunantunich and cave tubing excursion. Gilbert was an awesome guide. He was very knowledgeable about the ruins and was able to answer all of our questions with up-to-date information from recent excavations and finds. Due to heavy rain the night before, we were not able to go cave tubing at the planned location. However, Gilbert was able to find another location so we could still experience tubing and the Mayan underground. Booking the trip was easy through email with Laura at the Trip N Travel office. If you are staying on the coast, it is a long trip to the ruins but Gilbert shared information on Belize and the area during the trip. The ruins are must see. Bring bug spray and be prepared for a long but great day!! I would highly recommend Trip N Travel and this tour!

Booked MR trip with Evra through TnT. Easily booked online and office in town centre. Trip to MR was excellent. Saw lots of birds including pelicans, falcons and different herons; bats; crocs and several monkeys. Provided lunch was tasty. Then on the way back saw 5-7 manatees which was a real highlight.

My husband and I booked the Xunantunich tour with cave tubing. Gilbert was our tour guide, and I cannot imagine doing the tour with anyone else. Gilly was personable and super informative about the Mayan culture and about Belize. He showed us different plants and trees while making our way to the ruins. The ruins were amazing, but Gilly made the trip full of information on whatever we wanted to know. It was a long ride from Placencia to Xunantunich, so it was great to have someone give history and tell you about the sights along the way. I would definitely recommend this operator.

Just had the most fantastic trip to the Cockscomb Jaguar wildlife sanctuary with Gilly. He was a brilliant tour guide with a great knowledge of the area, flora and fauna. His love of the Belize jungle made our day an experience we won't forget. Floating down the river is so much fun. We also spent ages watching a troop of howler monkeys right above us in the tree, howling away, you couldn't have a better experience! Definitely recommend the trip with Gilly.

Our family had a day trip to Cockscomb Jaguar Preserve booked through Trip N Travel and they failed to show for our pre-arranged morning pickup. On follow up, they first claimed the booking had not been confirmed, then later admitted that it had. They apologized for their error, but a lost day on vacation can never be reclaimed.

We did a trip with Gilly- the Mayan ruins and Blue Creek Cave. Gilly was outstanding, helping us through the cave and describing sites along the way. I would request him again!

We had a private tour with Everesto in his boat up the river, he was very knowledgeable about the birds, wildlife & the jungle surroundings & how everything adapts to its environment. Stopped for a hike in the jungle where we saw lots of Howler Monkeys! On the ride back we saw a crocodile! Lunch at the Monkey River Village was a wonderful Belizian dish, then back to Placencia we also spotted some Manatees. It was truly an excellent experience!
