About
Mostly, a day out sailing. If you vote for us, you'll have pretty much the same type of day as when I go out with family and friends. We leave the dock at 9:30 in the morning, motor out of our canal, raise the sails and cut the engines. We'll sail for an hour or two, and then drop anchor in calm water behind a caye. You can snorkel or swim, or just hang out on the boat. After lunch there's time to do more of the same. Lunch, water, juices, sodas, and rum drinks are all part of the deal. Around two o'clock we'll pull anchor and sail for home, getting back around three. And oh yeah, we do sunset sails as well - 4:00 to just after sunset.

Talk about a 5 star experience. We just did a sunset sail on this company's catamaran. Andre and Fob were simply great. They were personable and very accommodating with drinks, munchies and good company. They took the boat out for just my husband and I. So peaceful, relaxing and the highlight of our trip. I strongly recommend them. Enjoy.

What a terrific trip. We motored out of the canal area and then sailed to a snorkeling spot. The water was clear and there were good fish to see as well as beautiful coral. We then sailed to another area for lunch and more snorkeling. Again nice clear water and good fish. Lunch was delicious and there was a variety of drinks on aboard. Water and rum punch were the favorites. There were only 6 of us plus Andrew and Henry so we could snorkel wherever.

Perfect way to end our Placencia vacation! 4 of us enjoyed a sunset sailing cruise from Daytripper. As soon as we got out of the channel and into the lagoon, the motors were pulled up and the sails engaged. It was so peaceful sailing. We had our choice of beverages including wine and rum punch and some snacks. But most importantly, the customer service was superlative and the captain and first mate pointed out points of interest and some details of sailing. At first, we went zipping along quickly with the wind providing all the power. Later we got closer to the mangroves and slowed down for a peaceful return. The sunset was absolutely spectacular and the crew helped us with photos and more refreshments. Overall, well worth the money and our time. Thanks to Daytripper for making our last night spectacular!

We sailed & snorkelled with the awesome Daytripper crew mid-December and loved every moment! Captain Andre and Mel were fantastic! Took us to off-the-beaten-path beautiful snorkelling spots to explore the reef and rich marine life. Lunch was super delicious and there was a great selection of drinks! We lucked out to be the only ones on board that day and enjoyed a real VIP experience. Recommend this small company with a big heart and fantastic service!

My husband and I had a wonderful day out snorkeling with Andre and Fab on the Catamaran, from Placencia, Belize. We saw lots of fish, soft corals and more. We were treated with great hospitality & a tasty lunch. Thanks so much for the great memories we so enjoyed sharing your special underwater paradise and hope to come out with you again.

Not sure if this is the one we were on, but we did a catamaran day trip to another island and it was out of this world. Never thought I'd enjoy being on a boat in the middle of the ocean, but I did. The captain cooked on the grill and he got skills. It was just beautiful on that island. I definitely want to go back.

Goodness. Where to start? A wonderful day trip in the cute Lill catamaran from Placencia. Andre (skipper) and Mel (snorkel leader / deck hand, galley hand ) were two of the loveliest people I've had the pleasure of meeting lately. Mel's cousin cooked up a storm for lunch, chicken with rice and beans but the best and tastiest I've tried in my 6 weeks in Belize. We sailed and snorkelled and sailed abd snorkelled. The most relaxing day. We were lucky wuth the weather too.

Due to the weather we had a wavey ride out to the island. While on the island a great lunch was prepared and we snorkeled. The ride back to shore was smooth and relaxing. Overall, fun was had by all.

Can your larger boat handle a group of 14? 8 adults, 6 kids (ages 9-13)? Thanks!

I'm going to be pricey... It's not really our thing. But I'm in for a discussion.

How many people go out per trip?

Our larger boat we'll put ten people aboard, and Lill, our smaller boat, we'll take six. But you could end up having either boat privately if no one else signed up for the day.

My husband and I are interested in an island hopping day trip. Do you offer that? If so what are your prices and availability? We are in Placencia until Sunday. Thank you.

Jenny my family of 6 did a full day with day tripper in November and also an island trip with a different outfit. Snorkeling from the boat and sailing the seas was way more fun and adventurous and we had the spots where we snorkeled to ourselves. Hands down more fun, and free rum punch too!
