The only thing wrong Was it wasn’t long enough. So much information I wanted to spend the whole day. Luis was very knowledgeable about the plants and how to make teas etc. we will go back again next year for 4 days. We really enjoyed the day there!!!

Medicinal knowledge is very important in Mayan history and if I were ever bitten by a Fer de Lance in Belize I would head to a medicinal healer. It is always good to have some basic knowledge of medicinal flora if you travel in jungle areas.

Tour guide or self guided, this tour identifies some of the local plants and what they are used for. Locals use these remedies, i asked for a guide because it fascinates me. Doesnt take long maybe a hal hour and there is ian interprative center ss well

This treasure of Belize heritage has fallen to the winds and Heriberto's knowledge has left with him. None of his family has carried on the tradition.
