To clarify on the cost above (US$50/person), this covered the walking tour and the cave tour. Not the transportation to get to the site. We had a rental car and it was extremely easy. Take the main east-west highway (Western Hwy). At Belmopan you turn onto the Hummingbird Hwy (note - it is not signed as such) but it's a paved highway. Nice drive. We came to the Blue Hole National Park. There was a parking lot on the right and the guy was set up there in a small wooden hut. With this tour, you could then go about 100 metres down the road and also go to the Blue Hole. I don't recall for sure, but I think the tour got you into the Blue Hole for free or for a reduced price. If you have your own transportation, I'd highly recommend this because it's easy and you have a good chance of a completely private, quality, local tour. If possible, email or call in advance to make sure they have a guide on hand for you. We were just lucky because he was able to call the guide who showed up in about 20 minutes but there might not have been one available. One of the best things we did the whole time we were there.
