I visited this cave on 2015, and I will definitely recommend as a must to visit in Belize. The cave is big and must be visited with a cave guide, I recommend Marcus from Maya Guide Adventures. He is a caver and also a great...More
Our guide warned us it's a harder cave and that it's not for everybody but it was easier than we thought. There are definitely some parts that are harder than others, but the guides Miguel and José help out as much as they can. A...More

The passages at Crystal Cave are no comparison. Some of them are narrow enough for an average sized person like me to have to take her small backpack off to climb through. There are no tunnels or passages in ATM that you need to squeeze through. If you are moderately claustrophobic ATM is completely enclosed but might be ok. Crystal Cave is a whole different ballgame.
