- Melissa SAnn Arbor, Michigan82 contributionsPerfect souvenirsThis is a cute little shop and a great place to buy gifts to bring back home. Everyone loves chocolate! The bars are buy 3 get 1 free and there are many varieties, including vegan coconut milk chocolate. They also have body products, beautiful truffles and baked goods. We stopped on our way to the airport (they open at 8:30) and they were a little slow getting opened, but I'm not always at my desk exactly on time either!Visited March 2023Written 9 April 2023
- Frequent skierSeattle, Washington6 contributionsLearn about the history of chocolate!Enjoyable 1 hour "experience" with the owner who explains how chocolate is made from the growing and processing of the cacao beans to the chocolate bars we enjoy, as you sample each step. Nice family experience and break from diving adventures all week. Location is nearby lots of great restaurants as well!Visited April 2023Written 11 April 2023
- GeneralShamuNew York City, New York1,114 contributionsWorth Every PennyFor any chocolate lovers, this is a must visit location while on the island. Once you try the delicious chocolates, good luck not wanting to come back a second time around. Ensure you immediately head to your hotel with whatever chocolates you do buy as you have a 20 - 30 minute window max before they melt significantly enough to impact the ultimate taste of it. We summarily returned to the hotel and put it in the fridge/cooler within the room. Parking available outside for golf carts and they take credit cards beyond 20 BZ$.Visited June 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 25 June 2023
- Steven WSatellite Beach, Florida9 contributionsToo expensive onlineFantastic class and great learning experience. Do not purchase online. Was annoyed to arrive and see sign out front that said $25 BZ when I paid $50USD before arrival online. Would be okay if you are offered a credit on merchandise but that wasn't the case. Definitely a must do but pay when you get here.Visited August 2023Written 1 August 2023
- Jrtm2014Seattle, Washington296 contributionsBest souvenirs ever and darn good with a view. This is a great little shop for some fun, souvenirs. Cocoa powder, cocoa soaps, chocolate tea. But they're true superpower is there chocolates they have so many fun flavors. My favorite was the chocolate and coffee combination followed by the peanut butter chocolate. Note this is not a Reesie's peanut butter cup. In fact, it taste totally different. Great gift to bring home to everybody Also enjoyed their chocolate milkshake, which is more like frozen hot chocolate. Surprisingly good.Visited December 2023Travelled with familyWritten 2 January 2024
- SM_travelbugStroud, United Kingdom33 contributionsExcellent chocolatesGiven it was too hot to buy and take the chocolate (although with a cool bag, which they also sold, you could) we bought 5 individual chocolates to eat there. Flavours were lime, passion fruit, banana, coffee and chilli. They were excellent! Just a hint of the flavours, not cloyingly over sweet, well worth the stop. If you like quality chocolate as opposed to the mass produced stuff do go in and tryVisited January 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 27 January 2024
- roermoblHampshire, United Kingdom97 contributionsChocolate classThe chocolate class was really interesting and informative, and there were several opportunities to handle and taste the ingredients/chocolate at different stages. The shop allows you to build your own box of different flavoured chocolates. Delicious!Visited February 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 16 March 2024

Do yourself a favor, find this place and order yourself the Chocolate Strawberry Shake. Several people in our group said it was the best milkshake they have ever had. Go on, get you some! You're welcome.

Highlight of our trip to Belize! We took the chocolate class and it was so interesting and educational and fun too! We were one adult and four children (ages 7-14) who all stayed engaged in the whole experience. Chris, the owner, was amazing! Highly recommend this experience and felt it was a great value!

The shop is on the beach (by Blue Heaven Dive Shop). So, in between dives we stopped by to check it out. Wow, the chocolate is hand made using Mayan chocolate. The truffles are soooo good, and the brownies are amazing. Like, the best I ever had! We got brownies, chocolate chip cookies, and truffles to bring back to the dive shop to share.
We went back a couple of times for more chocolate and coffee. YUM!

My daughter and I took the class and enjoyed all the history and samples. Chris did a great job beginning with his professional quality video about origins of the Belizian cocoa bean, then showed us step by step the process on his beautiful beach side patio . The best part was all of the sampling and the bag of cocoa nibs/sugar/cream mix perfect for coffee! Bought some extras bc it all was so tasty including coffee tea, coffee and bag of nibs.

Chris, the owner, delivers an inside into his craft from describing how he goes to the cacao farms and co-ops to select his raw product, to the attention to detail n production to get the highest quality finished product to his customers. The chocolate class was very informative about the entire process as well as presented well complete with hands on demonstrations and tastings. The class is about an hour or so, so if you are not taking the class allow yourself 30 minutes to shop. Where else can you take a class on a porch overlooking the Caribbean and finish with a mouthful of delicious chocolate? Even if you do not have time for the class, stop in and purchase a bar, a truffle, or even a delicious milkshake!

Bought all kinds of chocolates here and loved it! The prices are a little high but overall it’s worth it. Beautiful beach front and great snacks! I got the best cheesecake I’ve ever had here. Very thing we ordered was good and this was a very popular tourist place. From chapstick to frozen drinks this is a must to come to!

The chocolate here is not only delicious, but the store also makes chocolate drinks.
My husband and I went here daily for the 3 days we were there. My husband had chocolate shakes each day. I had a chocolate banana shake 2 days and had a chocolate iced coffee. All were delicious!
There is also a very nice seating area on the back porch which overlooks the water. So peaceful.

I make it a habit to take a gift of chocolate home to our cat sitter when we are travelling. Needless to say, I was delighted to be able to purchase this fine, locally made chocolate. The shop carries a good variety of chocolate products for sale. Samples are available.

We went here multiple times during our stay in San Pedro. There is a great variety of chocolate products, everything from bath products, coffee, tea and cooking oils. They make a great Chocochino and chocolate chip cookie!

When is the Chocolate tour available?
Bliss@BCC
Belize
Hi, we do not currently offer a tour but do have a chocolate making class. This is conducted on the deck outside the shop and takes participants through the chocolate making process from the cacao farms in southern Belize to grinding and processing here on the island. It includes lots of tasting, samples and making milk and dark chocolate during the class.

It's actually a small shop, not a factory. They serve many chocolate items. Well worth a visit.

Very casual in general. Be comfortable and you'll be fine. If you check out their website if they have one, or their tripadvisor profile, you can get a feel from the photos. There are a few that you can dress up a bit if you want.
