Liked this beach more than others in SC. There is a hike down/up, but once down you are on a much more flat beach that goes on and on in both directions. Plenty of sitting area. No portapotties or bathrooms on the sand, so with...More

Heard someone say they saw a bunch of broken sand dollars here so had to check it out. Showed up right before sunset and low tide and was lots of clam shells and whole sand dollars. And sunset was amazing! Lucky last minutes decision. Nice...More

I came here with my three young kids and we all had a great time enjoying playing in the surf. There were a number of surfers and wake boarders catching the medium sized waves. The beach is relatively spacious by Northern California standards so we...More

Great beach for strolling, water activities, and lounging. However, it is a bit of a hike down to the beach.

Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Cali cities. Awesome sunset views and comfortable tent sites. Firewood for sale and easily accessible bathrooms and showers.

I will recommend this beach to anyone who is looking for a non-crowded location to catch a glimpse of the sunset from shore. There is a nominal charge for parking, but during summer weekends (after 6pm), there are no attendants to check. The beach is...More

I come here everyday at sunset. This is a long sandy beach - I believe you can walk all the way to Moss Landing from here - with great even waves for playing in and surfing. The sunsets here are so beautiful, even the firefighters...More

The sand from the parking lot/road is soft and deep. You will have a long walk. If you want to take a bike, go to Rio Del Mar or Seacliff in Aptos. Or go even further north and ride East Cliff.
