Auburn’s Grown-Up Bar
Jan 2019 • Friends
Have been going to this place for years. The drinks are superb and the atmosphere is great. They have 3 round booths near the bar and more comfortable seating near the windows overlooking toomer’s corner to watch the kids pour into Bourbon Street when it is actually open. Awesome bar with great social media presence.

Lots of "buzz" ...
May 2018 • Friends
Small, intimate space, and loud. A tad difficult carrying on a conversation. If you are looking for a cozy spot for an after dinner drink, give this consideration. Keep in mind, at least for when we were there, it is LOUD ...

Best Manhattan around

If you like craft cocktails or a well made classic drink, go by and see Casper. He knows so much about the spirits, you appreciate your well made drink even more.

Excellent post-dinner night cap!
Jan 2018 • Family
We were advised that this would make for a nice "parent's night cap" as the volume would be subdued, and the setting pleasant. It's all relative. The volume was definitely lower than earlier in the night, and the setting enjoyable for a little conversation before calling it a night. This spot has a bit of a club feel. Small, intimate, friendly.

Great Find
Dec 2017 • Couples
This isn't the easiest place to find even though it's a stones throw from Toomer's Corner but it's worth finding. It's a hidden away bar for older (older than 21..this is a college town after all) people that like to chill, listen to live music and have a nice drink. It's upstairs in a two story building in the heart of Auburn. There are a few booths but the best part is the live music and couches and chairs. You won't find any bouncers and people checking IDs at the door; it is mostly adults. That means no drunk rowdy kids or bar scuffles. If you are 25 and older and like live music, you'll probably really like this place.

Hidden Highlight
Sep 2017 • Business
While visiting Auburn, we had a late dinner reservation and looked for a spot to enjoy some conversation and drinks. Searched and thankfully found this spot! The stairs are hidden, so not just anyone will find the entrance. After tackling the stairs, we found an extremely comfortable location, with a great craft beer and drink selection. The staff was friendly and prompt, the atmosphere relaxed and inviting. Definitely a great place to escape and enjoy some adult time.

My Return Visit
Aug 2017 • Friends
Katie, Andy, Casper, and Nolan - The dream team for Auburn's best bar. Cozy, refined atmosphere with eclectic and ever changing music.

Start at this well stocked speakeasy to actually enjoy your company then head to Skybar across the street without feeling like you shook the clammy hand of a hipster.

Perfect!
Jun 2017 • Couples
After a VERY busy day with my student it was time for an adult hour! My husband and I were told about this place by a local. He was right. It has the feel of a speakeasy.. There is a serious set of steps to navigate and it's a little dark.. But that is part of what makes this place charming. Our bartender was a true mixologist. She clearly loves her business and this bar. Her drinks were fantastic and the drink menu is really unique. The whiskey list was extensive! I thought the bill would be high but it was actually quite fair. I will definitely return!

Upstairs, quiet
May 2017 • Couples
Not a lot to say. If you don't kill yourself going up or down the staircase, you might enjoy the quiet, lackadaisical atmosphere of a simple bar. Reasonable prices, mostly inhabited by college kids. At least it's quiet, you can enjoy your conversation.
