Not much of a lighthouse, but decently nice harbour views. Not too high on elevation, makes for an easy walk from the harbour. Wouldn’t say it’s a “must see,” but it’s a nice spot for taking pictures if you’re heading that direction.
On disembarking our ship we took a leisurely 15 minute stroll to the Akaroa Lighouse
Rewarded with great views of the coastline surrounding area.

A pleasant 10 minute walk from the town centre to here. You can look around and read a little bit about it, but there is no access in. However, also a very nice quiet spot to sit and look at the harbour.
A very pretty lighthouse strategically placed where most visitors to Akaroamcan see it. The lighthouse was shifted to the current position. It is well preserved. The lighthouse is locked so it is not possible to enter it. Lovely to visit.
