The Gorges de l'Areuse is a very nice walking trail next to the river Areuse. In summer this a very refreshing thing to do - walking in the forrest and following the river (upstream) when you start in Boudry. When you are a very fit...More

The “saut du brot” stone arch bridge is the highlight of a pleasant hike through Gorges de l'Areuse. The hike round trip from the Champ-du-Moulin train station is about 5km and only takes an hour or so to walk. Very scenic path as it contours...More

I did this walk on Sunday 24th April. The weather was nice. I think that the gorge part of the walk isn't much and its more of a riverside walk. I would recommend this walk to hikers and people who enjoy interesting architecture.

We expected lot by seeing the Bridge photo(Bridge in the cave). But, it was not so good as we expected. It was just a River side walk. People who like to stay in calm forest could prefer this place.

Only 20 minutes from Neuchâtel, this 2 to 3 hour hike is a great day-trip activity for families (some parts are a bit more dangerous, but holding your kid by the hand should do it) or couples. You can either get off the train at...More

While it is not the grand canyon, this one is spectacular as you will walk along the river and will follow it through the spectacular rocks.
