Just makes Tavira even more special. The roman structure is magical specially in the evening.Romantic and a special place. Look at the lovers padlocks when you cross it or take a seat and take the views on the very hold stone seats!

Romantic place, medieval bridge, in high season very crowded especially at the evenings. Worth to see.

Certainly one of the most famous buildings of Tavira. Pittoresque small pedestrian bridge crossing the river. Not an architectural masterpiece, but a vestige of the past with a romantic charm.

Views galore wherever you look from the bridge and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby too. Good to watch the fish when the tide is in and when it's out. A word of warning though - don't wear high heels!

A lovely seven arched Roman Bridge. There are many locked padlocks on the bridge placed there by couples declaring their love for each other.

A nice picturesque bridge that links the two sides of Tavira. Pleasant for a stroll and watching the fish or birds. Shame about the graffiti in places, and the less appealing bridges downstream. You can get a nice photo from the Eastern side looking towards...More
