Monemvasia is magical and beautiful. Views take away breath. It's like you're in a different period, not in the 21st century. Parking is a big problem.

This is MUST place to visit once you are in Greece. We've visited plenty of places in Europe, but this is really unique place. Once you enter the gates you feel like you travel in time back to medieval ages. Narrow stone paved streets, beatiful...More

We marched our way around the majority of Monemvasia in a couple of hours which, on a hot day, was a bit sweaty and tiring. We wished we had spent a bit longer to take our time getting up and down. Take grippy flat shoes,...More

Hi Amit, The Castle (top of the mountain) is closed at 15.00 (winter time), summer time is usually longer. I think you can make it. But why to rush? You can go there in morning as we did and enjoy the beautiful reflection... More
