Nice view of the Tartu Cathedral which is one of the biggest churches in Estonia and with it's impressive towers - don't forget to visit the museum.

University of Tartu Museum is in the middle of nice park. Did not go up the tower, but ruins itself looks great. Park is open 24/7.

If you visit Tartu, it's a must to visit the University Museum at Toomemägi! The building is impressive, it use to be biggest church in the Baltics!

Set in some pretty parkland close to the Old City, on a hill, this ruined Church and museum are very picturesque. Nice to wander around and perfectas part of a bike ride see guide tour.

The museum contains a fascinating collection of exhibits, which are displayed on different levels. Don't forget to visit the ruins of the cathedral. It is an interesting climb up the wooden steps!

Having climbed the hill and admired the ruins of the old cathedral we were disappointed with the limited amount of material on display at the museum. Some thought and expense has gone into the way it is all displayed.
