Great viewing point to oversee Tallinn. But try to avoid weekend afternoon, it get very crowded with tour group. Kohtuotsa viewing platform is another viewing point that I would recommend

This spot is somewhat hidden from the regular touristy path in case you are a solo traveler who prefers to simply walk around and not worry about maps and atractions. it is therefore a jem you are so happy to find.

Yes, you can go from Old town side - walk up the streets with no stairs.
