Overview
More
The view from Tallinn TV Tower is unique in Estonia as well as in all of Northern Europe. Under your feet are the woods of Muuga. The captivating Tallinn Old Town and the glistening Baltic Sea in all of its majestic glory are off in the distance. When Estonia was still behind the Iron Curtain, this was for many Estonians a window on the free world - at night one could even catch sight of the lights of Helsinki. To illustrate the view, visitors can use multimedia screens: to increase the area visible in it or seeing what the place looked like in the past. It is a view that must be seen. And - experienced! Bus information The TV Tower is served by city buses 34A, 38 and 49 ("Teletorn" stop), as well as by CityTour and City Sightseeing tourist buses (green line, Mere pst - Teletorn). Handicapped-accessible.

Tower has been renovated so interior is new and nice with movie theatre. On the top, cafeteria offers snacks, hot- and cold beverages

The view from the tour was nice, though I was there on a partly cloudy day. I would come again on a clear day. I was surprised about how much information the tower contained - I was expecting a viewing platform and restaurant and not...More

This is a classic soviet era TV tower built in 1980 when TV was the main way that people got their news. There is a viewing platform and a care which is surprisingly inexpensive.

We did not go up the tower but we drove to have a look. I believe it has an edge walk you can do in the warmer months. We are not brilliant with heights and hence gave it a miss to go up.

Nice scenery but otherwise a boring place. One hour visit time gives you time have s cup of coffee, you will not have time to eat. The service was rude. They did blame the customers mistakes the staff made. They seem not to understand that...More

Hello, Stu! As we usually get feedback of great service, can you specify what was the case with rude service? Thanks.

Yes, you can look from above to tallinn and see some exposicions there and draw smth, but nothing special, only if you do not jump from there. There is also restauraunt. If come in "museum night" came earlier, cause there is very much people.

Nice place to visit. For example with a rental bike from the center. Tower gives some information about the history and development of Tallinn. There is also a good restaurant .

Hello! Taxi shouldn't cost more than 15 € to get here from downtown. Though, as its been said, you might want to consider coming by bus 34A/38 which will take you exactly in front of the tower :)
