Overview
More
The view from Tallinn TV Tower is unique in Estonia as well as in all of Northern Europe. Under your feet are the woods of Muuga. The captivating Tallinn Old Town and the glistening Baltic Sea in all of its majestic glory are off in the distance. When Estonia was still behind the Iron Curtain, this was for many Estonians a window on the free world - at night one could even catch sight of the lights of Helsinki. To illustrate the view, visitors can use multimedia screens: to increase the area visible in it or seeing what the place looked like in the past. It is a view that must be seen. And - experienced! Bus information The TV Tower is served by city buses 34A, 38 and 49 ("Teletorn" stop), as well as by CityTour and City Sightseeing tourist buses (green line, Mere pst - Teletorn). Handicapped-accessible.

This was an interesting side trip to the Tallinn suburbs and an interesting bit of history from the communist era. It has quite a story. Also, amazing views of this flat country from the top that go for miles on a clear day.

Great views that is what! Not expensive for the great views, fast lift up to the top with a small outside area for some very fresh air.

I will try to visit every tower wherever they exist, they mostly build them in locations that will offer the nicest of views, this is no exception, so why not?...

I came here on the route of the hop on hop off bus. The bus stops right outside as it is a fair distance from Tallinn but a lovely bus journet along Pirinta promenade. I took the lift up to the viewing enclosure and enjoyed...More

Have been there many times with my family and it's fun every time. Pick a clear day for your visit so you get the best of the 360 degrees view. Restaurant and playground outside on summertime. Gift shop. Check the screens with interesting information upthere....More

Edge walk is not as breath-taking as on CN Tower in Toronto, as Tallinn's TV tower is "only" ~150 m high. However, on a nice day it's both fun and scary experience. Visit old Soviet era exhibition downstairs to feel some 80's atmosphere of Soviet...More

The bus from Tallinn centre stops right outside. I always enjoy the people watching opportunities provided by public transport so that was a good start. I arrived shortly after 1000 and there were very few other visitors at that time - I had the outside...More

Stopped during our tour of Tallinn. On a clear day we had views across the entire city and Baltic. Definitely worth a quick visit.

Going up in the tower is great fun! The view is stunning and there is also a lot to see in the actual tower. Exhibitions both on the ground floor and in the tower shows things from past days in Estonia which is really interesting.
