It was a rainy morning in Tallinn, however, once the rain stopped the Square came to life. Tables & tents popped up and all kinds of items were up for sale. Many handcrafted items, jewelry, & souvenirs were sold. The restaurants all around the square,...More

Take a table at one of the squares bars (sure the beers cost more here, but worth it) and watch the passing parade of people. Buy souvenirs and amber at market stalls. A place to enjoy!

A center of activity ringed with restaurants. This square is similar to others you may see in European cities. Nice to wander in. Mostly shops and restaurants for tourists.

Many preserved medieval towns/cities have beautiful squares, and Tallinn Old Town is no exception. The atmosphere is festive, with a number of restaurants with seating in the square and various employees in period costumes. It is nice to simply sit in the square between explorations...More

Get there early for crowd free photos. Lovely old world town square, reminiscent of some German town squares

It's a nice square with a lot of restaurants. If you can find a spot, it's lovely to have a drink in the sun. The prices are the highest because it is a tourist hot spot.

A delightful square in the centre of the old town surrounded by amazing buildings. The Town Hall dates from 1322 and is the only Gothic town hall in northern Europe.
