Town Hall is one of the focal points of Old Town and is easily identified by its slender tower (which seems disproportionately small compared to the rest of the building). Wasn't able to tour the interior due to a special event. Notice the wall clock....More

The tower of the Town Hall is one of the Tallinn symbols. This place is the meeting point (for different purposes). Do not miss the wonderful Dragon restaurant inside.

Enjoyed guided walking tour of this beautiful town, it’s free from the tourist shop if you get their for midday. Last 2 hours and our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about her town and country.

Nice gothic style building which looked well as a backdrop to the christmas markets. Went to climb the tower to find out its closed over the winter months.

There has nice Christmas tree at the center of the square. Around it has a lot of little “houses” where you can buy handicraft, souvenirs or Christmas biscuits and hot glöggi. There has also some attractions for children. Nice place to visit or just pass.

We came here during the day but found it was much better late at night . The Old area is lit up in the hundreds and hundreds of people around. World worth a visit.

Sold as a highlight of a trip to Tallinn. Lovely building with loads of history, but closed in the winter without making a special appointment! As the centre of the Christmas market, not what I’d expected.

We had our first glimpse of the gorgeous facades as we strolled along Viru and on our arrival in the square we saw its full glory. It has a marvellous setting and is superb against the skyline. Ascending to the tower was memorable, with a...More

Beautiful building and what makes it more special is the legend of the boy who guards the city from the top, Thomas!
