This jumble of 14th- and 15th-century architecture with its medieval walls, needling spires and twisting, cobblestone streets is also the site of many of the city's important historic attractions and museums including the House of the Brotherhood of the Blackheads, St. Catherine's Guild and the 15th-century Guildhall that now houses the History Museum.

I don't know how you could come to Tallinn and not come here, and once here, I don't know how you could not be charmed. It's quaint and fun, whether you're interested in history or people or whatever... Very beautiful.

Wonderful place to just wander, cobbled streets though - beware good walking shoes required. Maps available from tourist information, loved it!

A UNESCO Heritage Site, Old Town Tallinn is a lovely little town. The architecture is beautiful. There are several churches worth visiting and plenty of good restaurants. You can easily see the Old Town in a day and then head out to the more modern...More

Very nice old town with buildings from XIII-XV century and earlier. A lot of good restaurants and some souvenir shops.

1 day is enough for sightseeing. If you have more than a day, then it is good to chill out in a restaurant.

I like these old towns and I think this one is the Northern-most of the ones I've visited. There is loads to do here at least during the summer, but the restaurants and awesome pubs with vast brew selections do work also during the winter...More
