As we were walking through Fő Tér/Hauptplatz, we saw people on the lodge of the tower and we decided to have a visit in there. If you are a student, you are eligible for a large discount on the entrance ticket (HUF 580).

The Fire Tower was originally built between the 13th and 14th centuries, destroyed by fire and rebuilt in the 17th, and is a beautiful sight in the 21st. An excellent reminder of how long Sopron has been a city.
Fire Tower (Tuztorony) / Firewatch Tower located at the northern end of the Main Square is the symbol of Sopron. The tower acquired its present form with its Baroque. Today is the famous place tourist visit for this city.

A torony és a museum a kiállítással nagyon érdekes volt számunkra. A gyerkőcök is imádták a lépcsőzést. :-)
The tower with the museum and the exhibition was very interesting for us. We liked it.
The kids loved the stairs. :-)
