Had the pleasure of discovering this place on my first full day in Budapest. Even a better treat to discover the cafe was just down the street from my hotel. I found the cats were very interactive, and having recently lost a cat it was...More

What was not to love?! My partner and I love cats and we were missing our 2 babies at home. It was great to have feline company, they were sleeping mainly but were so happy to be stoked. Service was fairly good, waitress was a...More

Food was OK and the lemonade also. Interior seemed more like a canteen. When I got in I was handed a set of rules on paper - if a lady would have told them me, it wouldn't seem so strict. Cats were cute, tho.

Located on a side street just at the back of St Stephen's Basilica. A lot of the cats were asleep, those that weren't didn't seem very interested in being stroked. Not enough toys to try and amuse them. Coffee and cake was nice, service good.

I visited here with my boyfriend and friends, we absolutely loved it!! The waitresses were all lovely despite other reviews I’ve read. 😕 In a place like this you simply cannot expect the cats to be 1000% interactive, they are NORMAL cats not circus animals!...More

We were home sick and missing our cats and the blond waitress felt like a School mistress with no people skills at all. It was a horrible experience. Other staff exempt by the way. Do not go here.

I personally did not find Budapest prices high. But, I live in a US city. The cost of lemonade was about 70% the price of one that I purchased at a Starbucks I visited later during my trip and much much better. Lemonade in... More

Dear Jordan, It's a regular cafe with a lot of cats. You are not allowed to pick up the cats, if you want to touch the cats you will have to wait for them to come to you. As for prices just like a regular cafe.

Nope! Plus you can see how busy it is quite easily as it has plenty of windows on the front. When you go in, you just have to read the rules before they serve you food and drink.
