You only see the grand staircase and the crown, and you can’t take pictures of the crown. It’s a 30 minute tour that just sees these 2 rooms, so I personally was really disappointed. Also, we stopped to take a picture in the stair room...More

Beautiful looking building and a free little museum on the inside you can pop in to to learn about some of the political history of Hungary. Some interesting statues surround the building and it makes for a lovely view and has incredible architecture. Only problem...More

This was a chance to see inside the really impressive interior of the building... We were part of a large group part of which (including us!) managed to lose the tour guide when she went with others in the lift and we took the stairs....More

Anyone who goes to Budapest will have a great experience if you look inside. There should be tourist offices. The experience is worth it.

The beauty of European government buildings and history are so worth your time. The Pest side of Budapest is very walkable, cosmopolitan (since the fall of communism), busy, good shopping and dining

From the architecture to the gold leaf to the statues to the crown, all dramatic. The building itself tells a story. Do take a guided tour.

District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube,
with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The
Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica
stand out as two of the finest examples of
architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for
more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval
city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while
the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention
