Built during the 19th century for the Hungarian Millennium celebrations, this mock bastion features pointed towers and turrets, reminiscent of the fairytale castles in Disney World.

Astonishing view of the city. We were there around 8pm on Thursday and not too many people. It is easy to get there by bus # 16 .

It was a rainy day, but still we visited the place and enjoyed our time. The view of Budapest city and river Danube can be seen from different top angles, which is a great experience.

A great place to spend a couple of hours. Incredible views and a good selection of eateries. We did go back one evening to see the view at night and have a nightcap. Amazing views but no nightcap as everything was closed

You can walk around on your own. I'm not sure about tours available, but I saw a small building that was offering information. It was down the street from Matthias, and across the street from some restaurants.
