The work of the architect Jože Plečnik can be found everywhere in Ljubljana. Besides being an architect, he also designed furniture, lamps, and much more. You learn all about this creative artist in the excellent 1-hour guided tour of his house. Price for the tour...More

Plecnik was a bit like America's Frank Lloyd Wright, more about design than function. And he was eccentric and a recluse. Still the house tour is very interesting. Our guide's English was perfect. But I would say the visit is best for those interested in...More

Definitely worth going on one of the hourly tours. Our English speaking guide was excellent and the tour gave a sense of the unusual life of Plecnik as well as his talent for design. A flat 10 minute walk from the centre.

IF you are interested in architecture and Plecnik's legacy, then this is worth a visit. We went on a very rainy day and didn't get most out of the garden, but it was still a great experience. I recommend buying the ticket that includes a...More

Take a guided tour of this historic home of the city's architect. It is really interesting and packed full of gems. It just touches on the surfact of the work of this amazing architect.
