Lovely old Cathedral and, unlike the UK, they don't charge for admission. Inside, it's beautifully painted - not quite on a par with the Sistine Chapel, but still worth seeing.

Came in here for a break from the summer heat, and was plesantly gretted by a cool interior. The inside of the church was not large, but cosy with interesting murals by the side. Honestly there was nothing too special about it, but it's still...More

Cathedral of St Nicholas is easily accessed by foot in the Old Town. The entrance and exit doors make a statement. Inside the beautiful frescos and pipe organ command attention.

We kept going back to visit, but no matter when we went, the church was closed to visitors because Mass was being conducted. We respect that but it should be possible to enter to pray briefly even if not staying for the Mass.

This church is so amazing, the interiors so amazing, that was so antique and beautiful. This place is located in old town of Ljubljana, near the triple bridge. Hvala

The cathedral is stunning and as pretty as any i have seen across europe. The immense bronze doors open to review the art and gilded interior. Stunning place and definitely a place to visit.

I don't think so. I visited the church during service so we had to stand behind a glass wall. When the church is not in use for service I guess you can move around inside. Take a look at the fantastic, metal door. The nose... More
