We are interested in architecture so the square was a treasure trove for us. As well as the buildings, there are trees and benches for passers by to sit in peace and enjoy the ambience

Not much to see there - just a small fountain that wasnt working. Store- fronts that were borded up. Not much activity happening there

The Old Square is surrounded by a pretty church, the Triple Bridge, many restaurants and shops. Many times, street musicians perform there. It's a pleasant place to people watch.

Don't just walk straight in to the old city alone here, but do venture up the slight hill (very easy walk) as there are some great galleries and restaurants hidden up this way - well worth seeing

Interesting to hear the history, get a guided tour to let you know about the place and the bridges.. Plenty cafes and restaurants.

Loved this square with Hercules featuring on the fountain. As we walked into the square, classical music filled the square from the Conservatorium, adding a sense of wonder and a feel of years gone by.

Not spectacular in scale, like all of Ljubljana, that is its charm...smaller and quainter..and the Old Square is no exception. Worth a walk around/through
