It’s sobering and incredibly moving being here, something everyone should do if they have chance, we should never forget what humans are capable of.

It was a long day but very worthwhile. We were collected from our hotel which was a nice touch, but it ended up taking just short of an hour to pick everyone up before we could make a start which wasn't ideal. Once on our...More

Thought provoking place. Bit commercialized now though. Lots of walking but very interesting. Very sad too.

Our driver, Pawel, was amazing - really knowledgeable and engaged. He had an enormous amount of information to impart about the history of Krakow and Poland. The hour and half drive to Auschwitz passed easily in his company. We were picked up from the hotel...More

Undertook this Tour yesterday 7 November. Communication was excellent regarding pickup and Jacob our driver was on time. Would recommend that you take a packed lunch, because if the tour over runs you will not have time to stop anywhere for lunch. Also make sure...More

Visited for a day in December 2017. Something I will never forget. The whole area is preserved and exhibited in a respectful manner. Even though the actions taken there were horrific, the place feels calm. The visit haunted me for about two weeks afterwards and...More

You can not take a rucksack into Auschwitz but there is a locker room where it can be left. You can take it to Birkenau which is the 2nd part of the trip. If you book an tour you will do both camps.
