If you duck through the Gothic arch you come upon Mariacka Street. It is a quiet street with lovely architecture.

The most beautiful street in the city (I'm tempted to say that it's the most beautiful street in Poland... it's definitely my favourite one). Lots of cafes, restaurants and little shops with amber, an absolute must while in Gdansk!

I was there this summer during St. Dominic's Fair, so it was very busy. But the beauty of the street impressed me, as did all of the amber! I have loved amber jewelry for years, so coming here was something on my bucket list!

It’s one of the charm street in Gdańsk love all the style the amber jewelry dealers and booths and restaurant and. Mariacka street has the Archaeology museum. It is quieter, has many dozens of, and is just an interesting street to walk along.

I lived in the Old Town for few years. In the summer you can expect some moderate noises at night. Although, there are no pubs, just few cafes, people tend to walk there until late in the night. In the winter it's a calm... More
