We believe that the experience of the Polish road to freedom gives us civic energy even today and that the heritage of Solidarnosc (Solidarity) is still a source of invigorating ideas for Europe

Excellent presentation of recent history. I would recommend that you give yourself at least a few hours to visit the monument, memorials and the nearby museum.

One of the best museums ever! I enjoyed it so much that I did not feel like leaving. I even bought some things in the museum's shop which I never, ever do!

I liked the most the Comunism domino, but also the shops and emotional pictures, good to remember and appreciate what we have now. Good magnets shop here, good prices and quality comparing the central market.

We went to see this underground exhibition in the morning of our last day in Gdansk. A very well constructed view of the events that took place during the past few decades. Some of the videos were quite heavy stuff for the smallest children.
