Great market, hall 22, for fruit and vegetables
Jul 2019 • Solo
Great market for fresh fruits and vegetables. We live near and try and go every week. Produce fresher than what you can buy in the stores and usually less in price. Vltavske on the red line best metro stop then take take tram 1 stop. Great bakery just outside of hall 22. Rest of market just a flea market but is being remodeled so will be interesting to see what it becomes.

Not much left of it
Jan 2018 • Couples
We went here but only the farmers market in hall 22 was great. For the rest some vietnamese stands selling crap. I was hete 3 years earlyer and it was a walhalla for cheap tobacco and fake brand products Looks like the czech government made an end on it and wirh that the place died

Poor Quality
Dec 2017 • Couples
I visited this Market with my girlfriend after reading the reviews. There were lots of cheap items including bags and purses but no designer items like mentioned in other reviews. The majority of the items were of poor quality.

Mix of everything from food to red lights
Mar 2017 • Solo
There are tens of good reasons to visit this place. To highlight a few, start with Alza megastore which is biggest electronic store with online prices and super large selection. If hungry, there are 2 restaurants worth to visit. Best asian restaurant in Prague called Sasazu. Pricy, but great! If you travel low budget, choose Vietfood restaurant at hall nr. 5. Sooo tasty for 5 EUR. Last but not least, Prague's biggest red light house is right next to main entrance :-)

Really liked it - Be prepared to bargain
Dec 2015 • Couples
Happened upon it after visiting the alza store on the premise. We were pleasantly by the market. If you want to buy be prepared to bargain. My wife was able to lower the price to 1/3 of the original quoted price. You need to act the that are leaving a couple of times and suddenly the price drops.

If bargaining is not for you then just come and enjoy. Many low cost food stands are available, 50cc beer for 25 crowns.

You either love, or hate it
Oct 2015 • Business
As my title says. Either you love it, or you hate it.

At the Prazska Trznice market, or 'Yellow Market', as many people call it, you can find all sorts of clothing, gadgets, souvenirs and other stuff.

Luckily this time, i visited the market with a colleague of mine, who has been driving to Prague for more than 30 years, so he showed me the good places at the market.

We chose to do some clothes shopping at a stall directly at Row 13, next to the big shoe shop. The owners name was Tomas, and he was very friendly, and not pushy or unpleasant, like other sellers at the market might sometimes be.

If hungry, there is a small vietnamese restaurant close the Tomas' shop, which makes amazing food...

Atrocious
This place is advertized as a tourist spot for buying souvenirs & clothes. And its the biggest lie ever. Almost all shops are run by Vietnamese selling the worst quality products you have ever seen in your life. Very seedy looking place. I am surprised Czech authorities haven't clamped down on it. The halls are randomly nunbered. After 12, you will find 52, followed by 8. The whole place is one big mess.

A lively HUGE market with a little bit of everything!
Apr 2014 • Couples
We were in Prague for one week, so we had some extra time to just stroll about. We decided to go to this market because it is easy to get to - Vitavska metro (toward Letnany) and then tram 1, 3, or 25 - to stop Prazska Trznice. It is a large market with multiple vendors selling purses, clothes, baseball hats, luggage, scarves, socks, knives, and odds and ends etc. There were also a inside permanent vegetable and fruit market, a butcher shop, a hardware store etc. Some of the stores were not open when we were in there in April. But, we wandered around to the other vendors and bought simple souvenirs like a purse which had a tapestry-like material similar to one I bought in Bruges several years ago, a baseball cap for my husband's co-worker, a Czech soccer scarf, and a lighter we needed in the apartment. Most of the vendors that we talked with were originally from Vietnam. All spoke excellent English so there was no language difficulties. We probably stayed 1.5 hours or so. Another reviewer said the vendors yelled for one's attention like in China. We did not experience that at all. Many of the booths did not have any one there and we had to go looking for the vendor. There was no stress. (My husband HATED the aggressive vendors in the silk market in Beijing and he would have never stayed at this market if that had that happened).

Nothing special
Aug 2011 • Couples
Big place, where you can buy everything.
The atmosphere is not perfect.
Most of the sellers are from Vietnam and they yelling on you. But they are not angry or evil, they are calm and nice, they just want to sell something to you.
You probably find there clothes like Nike, Adidas, LaCoste etc. But they are all fakes.
If you are in Prague for longer time, go there and watch, just for fun, you will see. And maybe find something to buy. Prices there are cheap.
