Kutná Hora was a great place to visit, particularly for the Bone Ossuary. This museum has some great reviews, but it looks like most are for the underground tour we couldn’t do as it was already booked out for the day. That’s the lesson... The...More

There are two guides visit options. The one we took went down into the silver mine and is not for the faint-hearted or claustrophobic. Having said that some little girls were in our group, with no problem at all. You are given coats and helmets...More

Very exciting tour to an old silver mine, which demonstrates you incredibly difficult environment miners used to work in. Tours are offered in English and Czech, but you will also get a text version in any of many languages (at least English, Czech, German, Chinese,...More

The highlight of the Czech Museum of Silver is the tour in the medieval silver mines 30 meters underground! At lowest 120cm and at narrowest 40cm it's no tour for claustrophobic people, although I did think that the tour wasn't in as harsh conditions as...More

Very interesting and “near miners life” experience! The tour guide real knew how to explain and spread the way of living and working in the 500’s Another unique must see in this city.
