The amazing thing about visiting this castle is the fact it is NOT the finished article. The rooms are honestly presented and the "Z" plan aspect clear to see. So much has been accomplished by the trust to make it an interesting experience. It was...More

Spledid to be able to go on our own with no crowds around. This castle is shown as it might have been 400 years ago. Not every room is furnished but this adds to the aura of the castle. Toilets are surprisingly good, hot water,...More

Okay this is not one of your better castles but it deserves alook, and the history is worth noting. Its outside of Aberfeldy but we enjoyed the castle.

Called here on a snowy Sunday morning in January but unfortunately it was not open until 14:00. The road leading to the castle is extremely pot-holed so take care if you value your cars suspension. Castle looked beautiful but could only judge from the outside.

We round this impressive Castle and to see the huge changes after 20 years. We had a very comprehensive opening resume by the gentleman at the entrance and then walked round the castle. Many changes to the upper floors which certainly improved the scope of...More

From the friendly reception to the rustic interior this was an enjoyable stop-off. Our 5 and 3 year olds enjoyed the unrestricted nature of the visit, whilst we enjoyed the history and displays.
