This church lies below the site of the last Battle between the Danes and the English forces. The building is a oasis of quiet. The Festival during August it is a pleasure to hear the amazing choirs perform in this church, the acoustics are superb..

This is a lovely church/priory containing interesting tombs. Ceiling very attractive. Quite spactious. Remote location.

I live nearby this church however I am not a church goer so haven't actually been inside it looks beautiful outside , my daughter sang her Christmas carols here for her local school and wow it's absolutely beautiful very big very well kept up together...More

This is a bit of a reverse 'Tardis' it looks big from outside but there is not much on the inside, we did not start very long.

The yearly summer music festival is a rare treat as are the concerts throughout the year, if you love wonderful choral music you will love Edington

A former monastery . Over 600 years old, the hall has been restored with the high vaulted ceiling a beautiful venue for xmas concerts and Sunday service .

Just explore the Church, there is a wonderful atmosphere. Easy parking nearby, and the Church is always open.

While we lunched at the Three Daggers (lovely) we became aware there was the Liturgical music festival on at the Priory. We knew there were two hours before the next service, so we wandered through the playing field and village to the priory. What a...More
