We travelled some distance to attend the Autumn Fair here as newcomers. It was a memorable and enjoyable visit with plenty of interest and we were lucky with the beautiful weather to appreciate the marvellous views from the top.

Good grounds for walking, excellent views from the top of the castle, but extras are expensive. The only parking is in their car park which costs £3 and coffee prices are those of a Costa or Starbucks but without being of the same high quality.

Beeston Castle is situated in the beautiful Cheshire Countryside. It’s a great place to take children as there’s lots of room for them to run around.

This place maybe excellent if you are good walker and don't mind a trek to get to the actual castle. Would not recommend this place at all. I am in a wheelchair and even the toilets are an obstacle course. I couldn't get to the...More

Went to the castle on bank holiday Monday. Quite a lot going on with medieval events all day. As an English Heritage member everything was free apart from the car park charge of £3. The cafe was excellent with reasonably priced good quality home made...More

Very little really to recommend more than one visit to this place. You pay for a walk up a hill to see a nice view. Not much available by way of interpretation other than a display that hasn’t changed for 8 years. Halve the price...More

Facilities are good but getting around the grounds of the castle in a wheelchair could prove to be difficult. It is very steep.

Definitely not. It's a very steep climb with uneven gravel, grass and steps. If I had a baby I would use a sling or back carrier or wait till child was 4 or 5 yrs.
