Just a simple little nature reserve but quite cute being able to sit in the 'bird hide' and watch the water birds live their lives without you interrupting.

Everyone needs to visit Buckleys Hole at some point - sit on the bench chair at the top with binoculars like my elderly parents, or walk down the sandy path and enjoy the birds and ambiance a little closer up. Gorgeous hidden spot.

Keep nice and quiet as you enter the bird hide, there were some swallows nesting inside when we visited. Vast array of birds and wildlife, very relaxing and peaceful. A chance to see nature at its best
