A small museum that is well laid out. As a Roman history buff i wasnt going to walk past it especially at only 3 Euro and with children free. A very proud curator showed us around. Despite her lack of English and my terrible Spanish...More

The best part of the exhibit are the Roman galleries which have some really nice artefacts. There isn't actually much else here but it does give a feel for the history of the town and its evolution over the ages.

This museum was free for us and contains some great Roman artefacts found in the area of Valeria and other sites near Cuenca. There is also a wonderful hoard of gold coins including pieces of eight from several periods of Spanish reigns, Carlos to Felipe.

An interesting collection of artefacts dating back to 500 b.c. and revealing much about the history of the region. A simple improvement would be to have either a multi lingual audio guide or at least a translation of the highlights of each room to assist...More
